about me

Hi there, my name is Mike. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and get to know a little about me. I graduated from The College of Wooster, a small private liberal arts college in Wooster, Ohio in May 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science-Internationa l Relations. I then spent seven months abroad. I spent two months last summer in Istanbul, Turkey learning beginning Turkish at Bogazici University as a recipient of a State Dept. Critical Language Scholarship. I then spent five months in Lille, France taking international business courses. Both trips to Europe were enjoyable because of the international friends that I have made there and from the places that I had a chance to visit. Currently i'm working part-time at Woodbridge Library as a circulation assistant. When i'm not working part-time, i'm studying for my ACSM personal trainer certification. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends, break dancing, weight training, travelling abroad, learning languages (Turkish, German, French, Spanish, and Chinese), and training for the Iron man.Some of my all-time favorite movies include: Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypto, Braveheart, Legends of the Fall, Dumb & Dumber, Last of Mohicans, Black Rain, Heat and Shawshenk Redemption.

I would like to meet someone who is open-minded, honest, affectionate, and overall just somebody that is great to be around with. Also, a person who takes care of herself such as through fitness and exercise, a person who is confident, knowing well that apearance is an attribute to the overall picture. I would like to meet someone who is confident in who they are and is continually trying to improve themselves intellectually, spiritually and physically.
