about me

So... diversity of experiences is what I find to be really enjoyable. Music, people, food, cultures, books, outdoors and experiences in general across a broad and diverse range is what I find to be most stimulating, exciting, challenging and rewarding. Music - absolutely love music and in particular live music. Music festivals are amongst my favorite way to spend time. Jazzfest is atop the list, not only because of the festival itself but also due to the setting - the soul of New Orleans is palpable. I am into abroad range of music: zydeco, reggae, funk, cajun, jam bands... Radiohead, John Butler Trio, Widespread Panic, Sigur Ros, Jedi Mind Trix, Lyrics Born, the Decemberists, Toots, Galactic, Anders Osborne... I really enjoy spending time a super broad range of people, viewed across any number of dimensions - culture, race, religion, sex, etc. People with varied experiences, backgrounds and beliefs are super interesting and provide an entirely different perspective than what you would otherwise gain a view into without being open to spending time with, and learning from, others.
