How to describe myself, older than I look, most of the time younger than I should feel. I'm one of the last of a type, an anachronism. One of those strange creatures that long ago went extinct, a gentleman. I still believe in holding the lady's chair when she is to be seated, standing when a lady walks into the room, and opening or holding the door when she wishes to leave. I was married for 25 years, until my wifes death, and finished raising our 2 children. Hopefuly I haven't ruined them. Some of my spare time is spent restoring classic cars, flying R/C planes, and trying not to meddle in my children's lives too much. I'm a fair to good cook and enjoy a quiet meal with friends of family , when the occasion arises. Being dressed in Jeans or formal attire, makes little difference, I am comfortable in both. I enjoy travel although I don't get to do as much as I would like to. The south of France is my location of choice, but Paris is beauiful in the spring. The pictures that I have posted are a bit out of date. New ones will come along if interest is shown. If more information is requested, I will answer. |

What am I looking for? Someone who would like to enjoy quiet and relaxing times (not meaning I'm a couch potato) but finding the time to enjoy life and all it has to offer. If you enjoy the sound of a mountain brook or the crash of the ocean's waves and find them to be relaxing and bring piece to the mind, you are of a like mind. Easy on the eyes would be nice. If you are going to try to re-train me, you might find this will be a project of immense difficulty. Hopefully there is someone out there who will find me of interest.
