I have attacked life fearlessly and with passion. I've intentionally gone down paths that were interesting and not the choice of least resistance. As a result I have enjoyed vocations and avocations as a stage magician, comedian, musician, song writer, chef, inventor, sales trainer, marketer, Internet developer and consultant just to name a few. My next areas of pursuit include film making, off grid living and alternative fuels. Since I do what I love for a living I am always working and yet never working.
I am a huge fan of the outdoors; camping, fishing, scuba, primitive camping and backpacking. These are things I have not done enough of in the past ten years that are coming back in to my life. I am also passionate about dog training, personal development, psychology, health and meditation.
Here are some weird facts about me:
* I love chivalry and still open doors for women, and persons older than me. And others.
* I've never cheated on a woman.
* I believe the man should pay as a matter of course. If the lady wants to treat occasionally that's cool, but for the most part I don't do "dutch".
* Horses seem to hate me. I have no idea why.
* I prefer my disposable income go towards experiences and not "things".
By the way, 48 is my number of years on the planet and in no way reflects my actual attitude towards anything. I would put my real age at about 32 if we were going by how I feel.
Musically speaking, do not fear the banjo. I love a wide range of music and would be hard pressed to find a genre I truly don't like. I play and love hearing a rock and roll / bluegrass hybrid music, but I am all over the map musically.
Some of my most interesting experiences and achievements in life were not a result of specific pursuit, but rather choosing to live and think a certain way that opened up unforeseen opportunities.
