I am an intelligent, inquisitive, mature male who loves women and people in general. I am outgoing, sometimes serious, often irreverent, frequently funny and at times complicated (in a good way). I love the outdoors. I am physically active. I party frequently, but not to excess. I work hard, sometimes to excess. I am successfully self-employed as a management consultant. My work requires some travel and some high stress acrobatics. I will go to almost any live music venue, but smaller is better. I like baseball and football, but generally am most interested during playoff season. I am interested in politics and international affairs. I have run for public office – the U.S. House of Representatives and may do it again. I try to travel for fun as often as possible. I currently live in the mountains above, Seattle, but am trying to sell my house and "get out of Dodge" after an ugly divorce. I like SCUBA diving, snorkeling and boating, so someplace warmer and on the ocean sounds nice. I will generally try anything once, and that includes in or out of bed, unless it includes climbing or jumping from something high. I can be hard to get to know at first, but easy to like. I can be quite talkative and then quiet. I enjoy being alone, but I also like company. I have a small number of really good friends and a ton of people I know and like. I am only missing a close female partner. I am older than most of the women on this site, but I'm not attracted to women my age (sexist I suppose, but biology is biology).
