About me? Where to start is more the question. I have been in Baltimore for over two years now. I left the Navy back in January 2006, and decided to do some traveling before I came home for good. The one thing that I can truly say about the civilian world is there are very few rules and abosolutely no accountability for your actions. If you didn't do drugs, have a criminal offense, and came from a broken home then you are in the minority. I tried the mortgage business for 18 months. Mostly, I found out 90 percent of all mortgage brokers are crooks. I did learn a ton though and made the best of it. Leaving the military is one of those things that terrifies you at first because all I have known my adult life is the military. I went back into the Information Technology field and am much happier now. Quite frankly, I never should have left. You live and learn. But work is not all there is to me. After seeing people commit horrible atrocities to each other, I tend to look at the simple pleasures of everyday life and not take them for granted. I am a very direct person, and very much Type A personality. I am confident, but not arrogant. If you earn my trust, then you will have my loyalty for life. I am the type of person who has a few close friends. The ones I do have though know they can count on me no matter what happens in their lives. They say you can judge a man's character by the company he keeps. |
