I am a simple country boy from Ozark, Alabama that migrated to Birmingham for a career. I Became free from the responsibilities of owning a business, having children to raise and an ailing mother a couple of years back and decided to relocate to Florida. I am very content with my decision to come here. Although I lived in a moderate climate in Birmingham, I am so very pleased with the paradise like climate that I am enjoying now. I love to play tennis and I can play everyday here. I love it! I thought I would eventually move to the Gulf coast, but I may stay here in Orlando. Both coasts are easily accessible. My son lives in Fairhope, Alabama and my daughter lives in Birmingham so I am only a couple of hours away from them by air and ten hours away from them by car. Not as close as I would like to be to my grandchildren, but the distance and frequency makes the visits more special. I am in perfect health. |
