I am an honest gentleman that was taught early on the way a man should conduct himself. This is. also, true for the male species in that I believe that kindness is not a weakness
and I try to treat people the way I wish to be treated in return. You know, the Golden Rule. But in all honesty, it was probably the best childhood lesson I learned and actually took to heart. But, rest assured when I got out of line, my father used to tell me, "son, take the cotton out of your ears, and put it in your mouth" and through that, I gathered he meant for me to shut up and listen and maybe I would learn. I have a beautiful daughter who is in college and she lights the room up when she enters, but it would be nice for a change, perhaps, if you could light up the room.
