During this era of my life I am a professional volunteer. Annually I spend about 1,500 hours in and on the Suwannee River. I find, identify and protect manatees in the Suwannee for Federal and State agencies. Not only is the work I do beneficial for the manatees it is also excellent therapy for a stress disorder. The last manatee that I helped rescue was 6 months ago. The last tree I hugged was due to a combination my over indulgence in adult beverages and the last woman who broke my heart.

I am self-taught, self-made and enjoy working with my hands and mind. Among other things, I have built motorcycles, a log cabin and a successful business. Before I “crashed and burned†in 1997, I had earned and urinated away 3 large piles of money. Currently I am rebuilding a boat, an old Jeep Cherokee and my life.
For where I have been and what I have done I am in reasonably good shape. Although I have broken every major bone in my body, I have only had 10% of my body parts replaced. I have had several unwanted body piercings by foreign objects but I have no tattoos and only a few inches of scars.
My interests and hobbies include walking in the light of a full moon, observing fireflies on the dark of the moon and every once in while howling at the moon. I have no pets but I do grow Daylilies and feed hummingbirds.
The life I live has caused a hard shell or crust to grow around the gentleman that I am. I am not often “touchy-feely†or “politically correct†but being courteous, polite and non-judgmental is a way of life for this southern man. Being my own man is of the greatest importance to me. My primary goal in life is to die with my boots on while standing up to the evil that comes my way. |

A fully accessorized outdoor woman who is somewhat busty, a pleasure to look at and who is smarter than me. Whether she is either long and tall or short and fit, I would like her equipped with endurance, courage and a non-judgmental attitude. Also self-reliance, low maintenance, frugalness, and the ownership of a kayak or boat will be pluses. We all have some junk in the trunk at this stage in our lives; so as little baggage as possible will be better. Maturity, morality and a good sense of humor are necessities.
