Got lucky, got rich in public education ( :-) lol!!), and retired early--I now split my time between Texas and Kansas (mainly SW and north-central KS). Interests: music (guitarist), outdoor sports/activities (both mountain and road biking, fishing/camping/hiking, whitewater kayaking), homemade wine, sports/racing cars, travel, art (work in stained glass and hand thrown pottery), woodworking, and I'm an avid cook! I tend to hang with people much younger than I am, mostly b/c of my musical nature; however, I have no pre-conceived notions regarding age/race/etc--as long as you are a divergent thinker, willing to be open-minded, and ready for new experiences, we'll get along just fine!

Any lady who attracts me has to have more than just physical beauty. Turn-ons: a physically fit and active woman, particularly someone who loves music--if you're a guitarist, you're already more than halfway there; and I love to be around someone who can laugh not only at my terrible jokes, but also at herself now and then. Life's too short to be taken seriously!!! Turn-offs: someone who takes life too seriously!!!
