I use a web cam. I'd prefer you did, too, or a headset/mic with VoIP software. Both are optional things, as in, not required. Yes, I know. Everyone wants to turn webcam chat into a Mardi Gras event ("SHOW YOUR TITS!!") To be honest, I wouldn't mind, but that's not what I'm after. When I say something to you, I want you to be able to see me saying it. I want you to know how I *look* when I'm talking to you. I'd like to see you when you're talking, too. Or, at least, hear the tone of your voice. Especially if we get to a stage where we feel comfortable flirting with each other. Voice and expression are great tools there. |

I'm not seeking a perfect woman. As I am nowhere near perfect, it would be hypocritical and, mostly, a waste of time. I want someone who wants me to be perfect, and who will push me toward that unreachable goal, so that I will continue to better myself instead of being happy with the status quo, and who has enough maturity to handle suggestions to better themselves without going ballistic. Age, skin color, and to some extent weight, are not an issue (my ex was 180 lbs. when we married.) I would like to talk with someone who's honest with themselves as well as others, who has a sense of humor (smart asses more than welcome. I'm one. Even got the funny hat,) who is past the testing and 'game playing' stages in life, who knows what they want but are open to new things, and preferably can converse intelligently in a range of subjects (they don't have to be the same subjects as mine. In fact, it would be handy if they weren't, as I like learning new things.) I have a web cam. I'd prefer that you have one, too, but it's not necessary. A headset/microphone is an excellent second choice, but is also optional. In any event, my camera will be on and on my face.
