Admitted online dating virgin. After looking around it seems that everyone on this site is interested in doing new things and go places. So, I suppose in this respect, my desire for adventure is a bit mundane. But, I take more risks on a daily basis than most people take in a year. I like driving fast and am considered by most friends to be more than "tough". My father was a football coach and while I don't hang Vince Lombardi plaques on my wall, my teaching style motivates.
I have created enough positive change and harnessed my best qualities to achieve a level of success and independence that is satisfying. The result in my character is more sympathetic and compassionate than arrogant. I am a loving and warm person, give superb massages, and appreciate my family, friends, and animals.
I love Woody Allen flicks but would hate to be his girlfriend. Am shamefully comforted by romantic comedies and intrigued by independent and foreign films. Seeing the world...when I am not riding or teaching...I hope to continue to travel. Cities, beaches, the middle of nowhere, all have something to offer. My trips to Italy,
Costa Rica and India have given me a diverse appetite for food and drink. But, trips to the mountains are equally grounding.
My college day aspirations for saving the world and my faith in the political system have faded, sadly, with each election. I do volunteer but it is often business related. Not a pessimist by any stretch. Though last week, I found myself wondering why Americans killed and looted during the aftermath of Katrina. The civility and calm in Japan is striking. |
