I'm 24 and in a relationship. I'm still living at home. I'm the oldest of 4. I have 2 younger brothers on my moms side, a younger brother and step sister on my dads side. I am very close with my family and frieds. They are very important to me and I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for them because I would be lost without them. I have been deaf since I was 5 or 6, but my mom never knew and I think it was because I taught myself to lip read at an early age and the only way I knew someone was talking to me was if they were looking at me. So my mom found out I was deaf after she took me to see an audiologist and I have been wearing hearing aids since I was 5 or 6. I'm going back to school for my grade 12 and then I want to continue on to college from there and will be taking an ECE course to become a special eds teacher for hearing impaired kids and I also want to take a writers course. I enjoy reading writing stories or poems, hanging out with family and friends, listening to music, going for walks, swimming going to a movie, mini golf and bowling. I am very laidback, straightforward, easygoing, reliable, carefree, independent, motivated and very determined.
