Unassuming, a little bit country (mainly country-rock - i.e., Sugarland, Lady "A", Kenny Chesney...and some classic country - i.e., Alabama)& a little bit rock 'n roll (i.e., 80's, 90's) and a smattering of most other types of music (EXCEPT RAP). Although I've never had the opportunity to learn, I love the elegance and romanticism of ballroom dancing, and passion and sensuality of salsa dancing. All around a true, blue Apple-pie American...born in NC (not too far from the OBX), raised in VA (Loudoun area).
I enjoy volunteering for activities in support of our service members and their families (USO rocks!!!). My sons are grown and on their own. Priorities in life...material things are nice, but they are not the most important! You can replace material things, but not family and other people that matter in one's life. I have a variety of interests...museums, movies, wine-tastings, mountains or shore (anywhere that is near water!), theatre, concerts, Wolf Trap, travelling, exploring new spots (so much of the USA left to see...and then there's the rest of the world! Would love to see Australia/New Zealand), or just hanging out spending time together. |
