My motto... if you are not having fun, it is probably not worth doing. Life should be enjoyed as much as possible.
Now that my children are almost grown and the "plans" I had for my prior relationship have not come to pass the way we had hoped; I am looking for a new companion who lives reasonably close to spend time with and see where things may lead.
I am an easy going person and I love to laugh. What you see is what you get (I bring no drama to the table). I am too old and too tired to play mind games.
Learning new things is a must, traveling is a new hobby I have just picked up, and I enjoy going out to do things as well as sitting at home and playing games or watching movies. I am up for learning new hobbies, especially anything outdoors. I am starting the next chapter of my life and am open to a great many things.
My current hobbies are playing games (computer, console or board), traveling, reading books (mainly fantasy), and doing anything "live" (sports, music, etc).
I realize that I am not a “beauty queen” and have some physical obstacles to overcome. But I am a fighter, and simply don’t want to wait to look for someone after I have overcome them. I figure if I can find someone who can overlook my obstacles, and support me with my goals, he will be a keeper :) |
