Linda Jean Rushin Introduction
I am Linda Jean Jordan Rushin. I am from a small southern town called Sandersville Georgia. My parents are the late Isadore Jordan of Davisboro Ga. and the late Willie Mae Jordan {Roberts} of Harrison Ga. I am from a strong background with lots of potentials for greatness. Out of eleven children and I was the youngest. Everyone was a little star strut. We were singing in church, or doing radio programs on Sunday mornings. My parents were always proud of our accomplishments. In years to follow the household became smaller, leaving as little excitement as possible. I was taught piano lessons, and just love to write. Often the Jackson music would have me rocking and rolling. My spiritual family roots developed two ministers in the family
. After finishing high school in 1975, I professionally studied business courses. I attended IBM schools and graduated with a certificate for keypunch operations and business management. Mrs. R. Richardson, of Master Sound Studios became my mentor. I joined the Atlanta Song Writers Association in 1979. I became a writer and publishing member of ASCAP in 1984. GAVIN assigned and reported a radio listing in 1999. My first music project is, “BELIEVEâ€. I am an owner of Busonic Publisher marketing and sell CD's. I am affiliated with ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). Uses publishers and media licensed by the society to publish recordings, composition, commercially.
What a Challenge! In 2002, I was nominated for the International Peace Prize. It was for my contributions to global betterment of societies. My impact on the international level of understanding and willingness to share my talents with others is the basis for this nomination of this award. I graduated from Georgia Military College in 2001 with an Associated Degree. Education convinced me to go on to this program at Ashford University to advance my career. Welcome to my world. The Gettysburg Address
Four scores and seven years ago
Our fathers brought forth this continent
Proposition that all men created equal
Dedications of the Gettysburg address
Fitting brave men met on a battle-field
Great men fought and lost there lives
In devotion to a call of her people
Long live the Gettysburg address
Conceived in liberty and justice
For all the living to finish their task
In a new nation we now rest
Long live the Gettysburg address
Highly honored they died not in vain
For brave proud men spirit rose high
The day Gettysburg history was change
Long live the Gettysburg address
What a great task they had in mine
Where nobly men could advance
New birth of freedom for a nation
Long live the Gettysburg address
For the brave men who died that day
A powerful government stood in their place
United of the people and by the people
Finally rest at Gettysburg address
By Linda Rushin
