Hello all! My name is Janet & I am a 30-year-old mother of a 13-year-old daughter. I am a full-out New Yorker, born & raised. I grew up in Greenwich Village & currently reside in Astoria, Queens. I've been working for the same company for 11 years now - Team Lead, Rate Operations Analysis of a PPO. Don't know what that is? Don't worry, no one does! lol I guess you can just say I have your typical 9-5 office job. However, that's not what I ultimately want to do in life. I'm currently enrolled in the BA/MA program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with a major in Forensic Psychology. After I graduate, I hope to eventually work in either a prison or mental health institution.
Ok so now that I've covered the basics of my background, let's move on to who I really am. Some of the traits I'd consider to really stand out in me & define me as a person are ambitious, direct, down-to-earth, easygoing, funny, independent, intelligent, outgoing & strong. I love to go out & have a good time, whatever that may entail. Friends often consider me the life of the party, and the clown of the group. I have a great sense of humor & require the same of pretty much anyone I date. Not a day goes by where I don't laugh my ass off at least once. I'm always smiling & have been told by co-workers that they've never seen me look unhappy. Now I have my moments of course, and are most definitely serious when the occasion calls for it. But all in all, I love being goofy & silly when with friends, and love finding fun & humor in nearly everything I do, and truly believe this is the best way to lead a happy, healthy, positive lifestyle. I love trying & introducing others to new things. I have an extremely strong sense of self, and consider myself a go-getter. Once I have a goal in mind, nothing will stop me from achieving it. I'm also the type of person who does not conform to tradition & who has no problem saying what's on my mind. My philosophy of life is to live it to the fullest! |
