On any given day you'll find me reading a book or writing poetry...i love to read books by ralph ellison, zora neale hurston, bebe moore campbell, and others likethem. I like to write about love, relationships, life....whatever. I'm a strong, independent Black american woman that has a good heart, is honest, loyal and very giving. I am a strong believer in God and I have a close relationship with my family. I love children but I have none of my own nor any plans to have any until I get married - however, for now I'm in no rush. I have a master's degree in education and I currently work as social worker for children's services. I'm a traditional kind of woman BUT I'm also VERY passionate and spontaneous. I need someone who can keep up with me when I have a spontaneous moment but who also likes to stay home and hang out.
I love going to museums, plays, amusement parks, movies, listening to music, writing, motorcycles, reading and working on my fashion designs. I'm extremely passionate and spontaneous, so i love trying new things.
Some of my favorite music artists are Common, Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, Slum Village, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, & Ledisi. Generally I like all kinds of music from Marsha Ambrosious to Katy Perry, or Erykah Badu to Lady Gaga....Generally I like different things and I'm open to trying (almost) anything new. |

Despite what many people say, physical attraction is everything; so my perfect match is someone who DEFINITELY has to have it going on. I LOVE my men tall ( at least 6'2") since I'm a tall woman myself - but i'll compromise if given the right incentive (wink). however, he should be muscular, have nice eyes, a sexy smile, very juicy lips and a tattoo or a few wouldn't hurt. Besides the physical my perfect match also has be honest, sensitive, respectful and outgoing. I would like someone who has a little bit of an edge or somewhat of a badboy. He should have a career, be educated and someone who has a strong belief in God. Most importantly, he must have NO children. I love kids but i refuse to deal with any baby mama drama or psycho jealous ex-wives( or girlfriends, fiance's and what not)
