Wherever I go, I bring my whole heart along. It may be broken, but I never regret, for I have given it all. Being true to my heart is what I can offer to this world. I am independent, persistent, funny, loving, sensitive, caring and passionate, and I like sarcasm. I am social, yet very shy. I enjoy being surrounded by upbeat and fun people, because I like to laugh! When I'm in love, I give it all.
I'm physically active, and staying fit is an essential part of my life. I've been a recreational long distance runner for over 9 years now. Running has taught me to be patient, persistent, focused, sincere and give it all. These characters apply to many aspects of my life, including love. In my downtime, I enjoy some smooth jazz over a fine wine, taking a stroll on a breezy night, watching a nice movie either at home or a cinema. I love dancing (ballroom and Latin), playing the piano, and taking a hot bath while reading a magazine. And... I have a particular weakness for fringe things or people! I'm well educated. Right now I'm doing research into neurodegenerative diseases. I'm not ambitious enough to change the world, but I do hope my work can somehow contribute a tiny bit to the field.
