I joined this site because I have a tendency to date white men more than black men. I have dated a few black men, but straight up... black men usually aren't interested in the same things I am. I'm looking for something real, not casual encounters, sexual encounters or anything like that. I don't have time for that. I want to be married and I want a family. I am into European Renaissance history. I'm in an organization that learns by recreating (not reenacting)and it is a really big part of my life. I like to cook, dance, sing, sew, read, write and a whole lot of other things. I like country music, I hate rap music and I hate techno music. I like songs that tell a story. I like world music like Lorenna Meckennit, Enya, Celtic Women, Celtic Thunder & Hossam Ramzy. I work through the state for a federal agency, so my job didn't fit into any of the categories they had listed. I guess it would be closer to medical than anything else, but I am not a doctor, nurse, or anything like that. This site said it is free to join, but I found out that just like a lot of other sites that claim they are free... I can't read any mail unless I pay for a membership. I guess I'll see if it's possible to actually meet someone without being able to read the e-mails.
