I am a 40 year old full-time college student. I started my bachelor's degree this fall at Oswego State University.
I am separated after many bad years of a marriage, and am in the process of pursuing a divorce. My ex doesn't even live in this state. There is no separated option under marital status on myspace, that is why mine says single. I am not divorced, but I live alone(well, with kids)as a single person does.
I have 3 biological children and 4 step daughters. My youngest son(19) and my oldest step daughter(17) both live with me so if teenagers scare you, I am not the one for you.
I am very honest and faithful. I have a lot of interests, too many to list. I like to do things with friends and family. I like to make those around me happy. I have always treated the man in my life like a king, just have never received the same treatment in return.
I don't smoke, don't often drink, although I can if the occasion calls for it, and never do drugs.
I try to see the glass as half full instead of half empty. I like to be treated like a lady, but am not the type to get upset if my hands get dirty or I break a nail. (I will even go fishing and bait my own hook, if I have something to wipe my hands on, lol) I'm a jeans and hoodie type of girl, but I can dress up nice too. I am self sufficient and pay my own bills. I am not looking for anyone to take care of me, but neither am I looking for a guy I have to support. Been there, done that, no thank you. I believe that anything worth having is worth working for. That is why I am going to college. So I can get a great job when I graduate and make my life as I wish it to be. I am buying my own home. |

Anyone honest, sincere, and drama free. There is a big world out there and its time I started to enjoy it.
I am looking to make some new friends. I am really honest(sometimes too much for my own good) really faithful(sometimes even when I shouldn't have been) and wants to someday find a special someone, but knows that that takes time.
I am 5'2" tall. A little chunky, but not too bad. I have started exercising more and would like someone that would be supportive of that. I am told I am a great friend. I am taking my bachelor's degree in computer science at SUNY Oswego, so I have intelligence when I choose to use it.
I tend to spoil those close to me to show them how I feel. I enjoy doing a lot of little things so the man in my life always knows I am thinking about him.
I am looking for a man that is not looking for perfection. I am no barbie doll. My life can go from simple to chaotic and back again relatively quickly. I am looking for a man that can go with the flow because he knows at the end of the day I am there for him and would do the same.
I enjoy doing lots of things with someone special, from long walks to long talks. Going to the movies, or cuddling up and watching one on the couch. Jumping in a pile of leaves or having a snowball fight. Going bowling on a Saturday night and laughing at each other and how poorly we do. Watching the sunset, or maybe even the sunrise. Going to see a concert or dancing around the living room. I haven't went camping, snowmobiling or 4-wheeling in years, but I would love to start again. I love giving back rubs and getting them too. I am usually up for most anything. I also like hanging out with family or friends.
My kids and my grand daughter are very important to me. I also have 2 more grandbabies due in the spring. My friends are important too. Amy you are awesome, Shane thank you for being so protective, you are like the little brother I never had, and Anne I look forward to hanging out with you
