When I envision the type of man I would like to date, the type of qualities that I enjoy are grounded qualities:
Local - I'm not a fan of long distance relationships.
Fit - I love a man who is in shape and takes care of themselves.
Security - I am looking for a man who holds security within himself. It's not about income, rather knowing where he is going in life, and not just a dream or vision, but taking the steps to get there or is there. Makes the right decisions and is practical. I feel men are better able to enjoy relationships, when they have this aspect of their life handled and they can focus on a relationship and have it a positive aspect of their life.
The ability to communicate and when needed, compromise - this is very important to me. I'm not one to engage in screaming matches or wars of mean and hurtful verbal regrets. I want a man that can talk to me and is a problem solver. One that can be honest about his feelings and desires.
Fun - I enjoy a man who wants to try new things even if its taking him a little out of his comfort zone.
